Mingulay Boat Trips is run by Francis Gillies who was born and brought up on the Isle of Vatersay. Francis has a wealth of diving and angling experience in the area. Becoming a fisherman after leaving school Francis moved onto working on chartered boat trips to Sandray, Pabbay, Mingulay and Barra Head. Now with over 20 years working on chartered boat trips he has extensive knowledge of the sea and islands around the Western Isles.

Francis also has a strong connection to Mingulay where his Grandfather came from and takes great pride in each journey to this beautiful island.

Rebecca Gillies is also an important member of the team helping with the day to day running of the business as well as crew aboard the boat. Rebecca has a keen eye for wildlife spotting while also making sure you have a comfortable journey on this amazing trip.
